Crafted from recycled Tyvek byproducts, "Plastic Marble" exhibits a unique marble-like pattern and exceptional durability and strength. This project introduces two decorative interior objects—a frame and a display shelf—showcasing the material’s compelling aesthetics and sustainable narrative.
Both the frame and the shelf are designed based on a clip joint system that allows for easy and intuitive assembly using a single material, without the need for adhesives or additional hardware. The frame specifically utilizes an L-shaped joint structure, enabling the stable and efficient production of frames in various sizes and proportions. The shelf is engineered to function like stackable LEGO blocks, allowing users to build and arrange them into diverse configurations and structures freely.
With minimalist silhouettes, these products are thoughtfully designed to achieve a harmonious look when displaying artwork, posters, photographs, books, or cherished objects, complementing a diverse range of interior styles.

타이벡 부산물로 만들어진 ‘플라스틱 마블’은 대리석을 연상시키는 유니크한 마블 패턴과 단단하고 질긴 물성을 지닌 친환경 소재입니다. 이번 프로젝트에서는 이 소재의 특성과 이야기를 담은 장식용 인테리어 오브제인 ‘액자’와 ‘선반장’을 선보입니다.
액자와 선반장 모두 '클립' 조인트 시스템을 기반으로, 접착제나 별도의 부자재 없이, 단일 소재만으로 쉽고 간편하게 조립하고 사용할 수 있도록 디자인되었습니다. 특히, 액자는 'ㄱ'자 형태의 조인트 시스템을 적용하여, 다양한 크기와 비율의 액자들을 안정적이며 효율적으로 제작할 수 있게끔 만들었습니다. 선반장은 마치 레고 블록처럼, 자유롭게 쌓아 올려 다양한 구조와 형태로 구성할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
간결하고 세련된 실루엣을 가진 이 제품들은 포스터, 사진, 그림, 책, 오브제 등과 어우러져 공간에 놓이는 순간 비로소 완성됩니다.
