Using upcycled material ’Plastic Marble‘ made from recycled plastic, the ’JUNCT buckle‘ is a joint that allows for the adjustment and fixation of the length of two crossed straps. Utilizing the characteristics of a material that resembles marble but does not shatter, the ’JUNCT buckle‘, made with simple cutting processing, can be used as a component in practical products as well as in spatial installations. Through this, it explores the connection and circulation of materials, while seeking possibilities for sustainable design.
폐플라스틱으로 제작된 업사이클 소재 ‘플라스틱 마블’을 활용하여 만든 ‘JUNCT buckle’은 교차된 2개의 스트랩의 길이를 조절하고 고정시킬 수 있는 조인트이다. 대리석처럼 보이지만 깨지지 않는 소재의 특성을 이용하여, 단순한 커팅 가공만으로 만들어진 ‘JUNCT buckle’은 공간 인스톨레이션부터 실용적인 제품의 부자재로 사용가능하다. 이를 통해, 소재의 연결과 순환을 탐구하며, 지속 가능한 디자인에 대한 가능성을 모색한다.
